This article explains what system roles are. To make use of new functionalities in which system roles are needed, these need to be linked to dynamic roles in the dashboard. This article assumes that the user has the right to view and add roles.


  1. Click on Control and then Roles in the toolbar. 
  2. Click on the role which needs to be assigned to a system role
  3. The overview page of the role will appear
  4. Click on the orange button with the pen icon at the top right to Edit
  5. The page to edit a role will appear
  6. Select the fixed role in the System role field
  7. Click on Save to save the changes
