Important information
To manage users you need to have one of the following user types: HR Employee or Administrator.


In Accounts, you can link groups, roles and user types to a user. 


Groups

The group determines which clients, objects and units a user can see in Leviy.


Users in Leviy have access to certain clients, objects and units based on the group to which they are linked. A group represents a collection of clients and associated objects and/or units. This can be a selection, or the total of clients, objects and units, that fall under a certain organisation.


Roles

The role, along with the user type, determines what a user is allowed to do in Leviy.


Within Leviy it is possible, by means of a role, to determine which rights a user has. A role is really just a collection of permissions/rights.

We are continuously adding more logic to user types. On this page you can find the latest information about the logic behind the user types.



To simplify user management we have introduced user types containing fixed logic. The different roles can cause a lot of complexity and ambiguity within an organisation. Together with new developments, these user types will also evolve and thus contain more and more logic that is consistent with daily practice. Over time, permissions will also be replaced by including them in logical user types.


Below you can find an overview of the current logic of the different user types:


System Administrator

  • Accounts - Manage users (register, edit, block / unblock and delete)
  • Files - Manage file categories, manage orphan files, view and manage all files, link a file at once to all clients / all objects / all unit categories.
  • Dashboard - Manage object configuration, object permissions, manage object inventory, manage employee preferences, manage IoT configuration, manage occupancy statuses, manage cleaning statuses

HR Employee

  • Accounts - Manage users (register, edit, block / unblock and delete)


Customer

  • Dashboard - The 'Clients' menu item is displayed as 'My companies'


All user types, except the user type Client and Cleaner

  • Dashboard - Manage Rooms, Layouts and Floorplans
